Reach KAN, then proceed to River Kwai Bridge. |

Experience a train ride from Kanchanaburi train station across the Bridge on the River Kwai. The beginning part of the train journey runs through local farms scattering over the flat area with a stunning backdrop of limestone mountains. The scenery of the riverside is very fascinating when the train runs along Tam Krasae Viaduct facing a stunning cliff. |

Get off at Tam Krasae station, then lunch at a local restaurant with the river view. |

Proceed to Hellfire Pass Memorial located on the magnificent mountainous terrain. |

Upon arrival, visit the memorial’s musem that features a comprehensive story of the Death Railway construction in relation to the Great Pacific War, and POWs who died due to hard living and working
conditions during the construction period. Then another 2 hours walk along a less visited stretch of the railway will offer a better understanding of the unique landscape and conditions POWs had faced when working on this historical railway. The walking trail contains some of the most dramatic places of the rail. |

Pick up at Hintok station, proceed to Home Pu Toei Resort or Hintok River Camp by the River Kwai. |

Upon arrival, check in and then enjoy at leisure (reading, swimming or sun bathing). Visits to the resort’s Sir Edward Weary Dunlop museum and the gallery featuring the original sketches of a late prisoner of war- the so-called artist of the Death Railway - can be done. |

Hintok River Campsite Details: Spacious, thirty-two canvas tents, the tents are all settled permanently on a wooden base. The tents feature twin queen size beds with a 6 SQM, well equipped with necessary facilities including air-con, mini-bar, desk and chairs. Unsuited, semi outdoor- bathroom decorated in safari style.
Day 2 (April 25 )
Highlights: ANZAC memorial services at Hellfire Pass and Donrak cemeter, boat trip along the River Kwai, walking at Heritage Walking Street

Ready for a transfer to attend ‘Dawn Service’ at Hellfire Pass. |

Join the ceremony (2 hours approx.) to be held in commemoration of the late POWs. |

After breakfast, proceed to Donrak war cemetery in the town centre. |

Reach the cemetery, then join the official ceremony (starts around 11 am). |

After the ceremony, enjoy Thai lunch at a local restaurant by the river. |

Start a river trip by long-tailed boat to visit the war cemetery in the peaceful environment on the bank of Kwai Noi River. |

Walking start at the street of old ages blends well with the old and modern development in the old town centre of Kanchanaburi. The first city street of New Kanchanaburi (since King
Rama III), Pak Praek road still has a charming spell for passers-by thanks to the architecture of its old buildings and residences along the road that links the River Kwai to the old market and old town centre. Enjoy spotting local activities while walking along and glimpses of the buildings of Chinese-western mixed architecture. |

Day 3 (April 26)
Hightlights: Elephant riding, Erawan National Park and trekking.

Have a wonderful experience of the elephant’s back riding in the woodland along the river. |

Continue to Erawan National Park. Lunch at a local restaurant on route. |

Reach the conservation park, then start a beautiful walk into the province’s most beautiful waterfall with the amazing patterns and shapes of the mixed and evergreen forests. Trekking along the whole 1,500 metres nature trail leads up to the first level which is most stunning due to its three-headed-elephant like shape. Enjoy swimming in its emerald-coloured pool or relaxing by the fall. |

Leave the park and return to Kanchanaburi town. |

Reach KAN, continue to BKK. |

Upon arrival, transfer to the accommodation. End of the service. |
